Dear Students,

Shri S.K.Shah and Shri Krishna O.M. Arts College Modasa is run by the M.L.Gandhi Higher Education Society. The college has completed 64 years of its establishment and entered the educational journey of 65th year. 

If we think about today’s condition of education, we may be greatly disappointed. Even we can’t even think about Nalanda, Takshshila, or any other Gurukul. Any institute has to struggle to earn reputation in society but we know the value of the lamp in the darkness. What is the utility of education if we do not get rid of our disappointment? The aim of education is to develop your intuition with joy.  You are capable of getting higher education now. We heartily congratulate you. We are pleased to welcome all of you in our campus. 

You are going to make your career after obtaining good result in the 12th standard with your continuous hard work. Apart from education, this college is very much ahead in the activities of Saptdhara, sports, NCC, and NSS. We conduct the classes of Scope to develop the students’ proficiency in English language. We have a good language laboratory to conduct the classes of Scope. 

The subject wise scholar professors, efficient administrative staff and dedicated peons are tried to satisfy the students with their hard work. My attempt is that students should learn the lesson of the importance of discipline with education and become helpful in the work of college.

All the members of the trust always ready to help the students. There is a big library in our college in which the students’ enhance their knowledge by reading the books and they can get the study books under the scheme of loan library. Any student should not be devoid of education so that we have started the poor student relief fund. Besides this, the students of SC, SC, and OBC categories students can take the privilege of the scholarship. Woman Development Cell is working to solve the questions of the girls’ students. I urge the parents to give advice to their children to attend all the classes regularly. If their attendance is poor, their examination forms will be cancelled. The students have to study CBCS syllabus per semester. 

If you are interested in writing, you can contribute your manuscript to the college magazine called Mazum. The main aim of Mazum is to extract the writing ability of the students. The former students of our college are having higher position of officers, authors, educationists and I am proud of them. I have completed 36 years as a professor and now I am serving as principal of the college. We are helpful to you to build up your career. The aim of education is to cultivate good manners with knowledge for the students. 

You may get success in your life by getting admission here and be helpful to society.
