The Old Student Association (OSA)

Establishment and Vision: Established on December 10, 2010, the OSA of Shri S.K. Shah and Shrikrishna O.M. Arts College, with registration number E 3569, aims to be a dynamic, visionary, and mission-oriented organization. It is dedicated to the betterment of both current and former students of the college and the parent institution, M.L. Gandhi Higher Education Society. The OSA envisions providing a platform that fosters cooperation among members for their educational, social, and cultural development, thereby contributing to nation-building.

Objectives:

1. Platform for Exchange: Create a platform for exchanging ideas and fostering a sense of fraternity among members, alumni, and current students of Shri S.K. Shah and Shrikrishna O.M. Arts College and other institutions run by the M.L. Gandhi Higher Education Society.
2. Alliances: Facilitate alliances in business and social fields, strengthening each other for mutual development.
3. Organizing Activities: Organize various activities such as talks, seminars, workshops, and group discussions on topics of general interest.
4. Support Parent College: Support the Parent College in all respects, acknowledging its crucial role in shaping our futures.
5. Utilize Resources: Utilize the college’s resources for personal development.

Current Activities and Fund: The OSA has developed a modest fund from the membership fees of 100 lifetime members and 450 annual members. Currently, the main activities include the annual gathering and several other events. Approximately 200 members attend the annual gathering, showcasing the association’s growing engagement.

Administration:

• The Memorandum of Association is prepared.
• The ad hoc board meets at least twice a year to discuss and plan activities.

Appeal to Alumni: All alumni of Shri S.K. Shah and Shrikrishna O.M. Arts College are invited to enroll for life membership and maintain active contact with the OSA. Membership forms are available, and active participation is encouraged to strengthen the association and contribute to its objectives.
